The Matrix M&A team have extensive experience of delivering and administering M&A transactions to demanding timescales covering the whole spectrum of business types and sectors, from SME and mid-cap through to multi-territory international businesses.

Working with the world’s leading Private Equity houses, Advisories, Financial Institutions and Corporate M&A teams, we provide them with a complete end-to-end solution. The Matrix team works on projects covering the whole spectrum of M&A financing activity, recent projects have included the purchase of one of Europe’s largest logistics companies operating across 17 countries with over 600 properties; the carve out of a Netherlands based ISP and B2B, B2C energy supplier; a multi-national manufacturer of engine cooling systems for commercial vehicles with global manufacturing operations, one of Oceania’s largest fashion retailers, and YO! Sushi, the international restaurant chain; we also supported the acquisition of one of the UK’s most beloved doggy day care businesses, and perhaps unsurprisingly, 2021 also saw an upswing in Health & Wellness / Fitness sector M&A transactions.
Matrix also support mid-market single territory transactions which are the life blood of the M&A market, and are proud to have worked on circa 50 mid-market transactions in 2020/2021.
Matrix’s independent status ensures that our advice is free of any external agenda, we are able to work impartially with existing management and/or current brokers or alternatively, project manage the sourcing and appointment of alternative brokers, to provide certainty of coverage and the knowledge that, there will be no surprises post-transaction.
